Summer on the Streets and ArtWalk is returning to Longmont this year. Presented by the Firehouse Art Center, this series takes place on Kimbark Street every Saturday
from July 9th - August 27th with a final 2022 event on September
10th.
Each Saturday night features art
for sale from Longmont artists, live music from local performers, cultural experiences,
and food trucks. No evening is the same with various artists, musicians, and
special events scheduled (including outdoor films, live theater performances,
and a community chalk art event). There’s something new around every
corner.
Festival goers are encouraged to
walk around and explore the vendors, dance, shop, or bring a lawn chair and
people watch. Stop by the Summer on the Streets and ArtWalk and enjoy the

Plenty of Art to Purchase
Looking to add more decor to your
home or shopping for a gift for your mother-in-law? You’re in luck! The
artist’s market offers a wide variety of hand-crafted works. Shop for ceramics,
digital prints, fiber art, glass art, jewelry, sculpture, leather, painting,
and photography.
Pop-Up Concerts
Each series event features two
performances, either in the form of live music or live theater, on the Summer
on the Streets stage. Enjoy live music before settling in for a feature film on
certain Saturday nights. School of Rock, Selena, and Ferris
Bueller's Day Off will air at dusk on July 9th, July 23rd, and August 6th,
respectively.
Family-Friendly Activities
Every Saturday night offers all
kinds of family-friendly activities to keep everyone happy. There will be
several on-site kid-themed activities that give children a chance to have fun,
explore their artistic abilities, and create something new for the refrigerator
door.
