legend. One of its founder, Bob Munson, moved his family to the area in the late 60’s to work with Ball
Aerospace. Feeling a pull back toward his roots, Bob and his wife Marcy decided
to purchase acreage just outside of the city. Since then, Bob has balanced his
career at Ball with this growing agricultural business. What started as a corn
stand on Pearl Street turned into a treasured, community-focused farm in the
heart of Boulder County.

agricultural history.
Pumpkin picking is one of the best autumnal past times, and
fortunately for Longmont residents living at Fox Ridge Apartments, farms are
aplenty. A short drive or even bike ride can put you in the heart of rural
Boulder County, where generations past have tilled the land and harvested food
for the area’s residents. Celebrate the harvest season at any of these
treasured pumpkin patches near Fox Ridge.
