various locations around town. The official holiday tree lighting on the 6th
Avenue Plaza kicks off the season on Friday, November 26th. Can’t attend the
tree lighting ceremony? There are several opportunities to get the full Longmont
holiday experience during the weekend of December 10th and 11th at the Longmont
Lights Festival.

The Longmont Ice Pavilion
is a seasonal full-service ice rink, offering skate rentals and lessons
throughout the winter season, weather permitting. This is the perfect
opportunity to channel your inner figure skater or hockey player, or simply

Mollie McGee’s Holiday Craft Market takes place over two days on the Boulder County Fairgrounds and boasts
to be the “finest (and friendliest) juried craft show” in Colorado. The Holiday Makers Market
on November 27th features only handmade items, as well as family-friendly
activities and food.
Walk
the Park During the Longmont Lights Festival - Dec. 10; 5 pm
For a uniquely Longmont experience, take
a stroll through Roosevelt Park, surrounded by thousands of sparkling holiday
light displays. This event
is great for folks of all ages! There will be hot air balloon lights, ice
sculptures, Santa’s workshop, live music, and a kids’ train ride around the
park. Stick around to see the fireworks above St. Vrain Memorial Building at
7:45 pm.
Build
a Toy With Santa’s Head Elf - Dec. 10; 5 pm
For crafty kids and kids-at-heart,
Santa’s lead Elf needs help building toys at Santa’s Workshop. Visit the
workshop at the St. Vrain Memorial Building to build a toy, then stick around
to discover your new favorite local maker at the craft booths.

out at the Longmont Senior Center during the Longmont Lights Festival. Are you

This classic parade of twinkling floats
starts at Longs Peak Ave and winds down Coffman and Main Streets. This year’s
parade is particularly exciting for Longmont’s residents after being canceled
last year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
